K3 Owners,
In St Thomas and setup my K3 for digital mode, to the laptop only to find
weak or no signals???
It seemed flakey in connecting the laptop to the serial port on the K3.
Plugging and unplugging USB cables revealed the USB to Serial adaptor from
the laptop to the K3 was creating noise and covering the signals in
MMTTY/MMVARI. Switched adaptors and everything seems better. I am taking
the audio from the K3 to mic/lin in on the laptop.
Using a second USB soundcard for voice keyer, this seems OK.
Any thoughts on this. WIll need to check the K3 when I hook it back up at
home.
