Robert Hitchens

USB cable

I just bought a MacBook Air and when I plug the usb cable in, the computer does not recognize it. I have the utility program for OsX and the port refresh doesn't help. I have a usb cable for my scanner and the computer recognizes it when I plug it in. Am I missing something? The usb cable works fine with my PC

Did you install the driver for the cable? Macintosh does not
come with the driver installed. Follow the directions on the
Elecraft web site. Due to a new hard disk, I had to re-install
it recently. I didn't have to reboot after installing it.
