Undocumented Feature

G'day,

FWIW, if you have any of the digits on the frequency display blanked,
holding "spot" restores the digit(s) and step size.  Both SSB and CW.

Been readjusting filters from 700Hz to 650Hz and had to zero beat the
"spot" tone with the audio from the 7MHz birdie to so that I could adjust
the setting of the CW tuning indicator.  Normally I never use "spot" so
hadn't noticed it before.

Regards,

Mike VP8NO

Hi Mike,

You're right, this is not mentioned in the manual. But it was
intentional -- it makes sense when you need to fine-tune a signal. I
didn't feel compelled to add another sentence to that paragraph  :)
