A few days ago, I posted screen shots and numerical info regarding harmonic
content of various QRP rigs to my website.
During the testing, I turned the RF drive to minimum levels on the rigs that
were adjustable because I was concerned about the key-down time during the
screen capture, moving the delta cursor from one harmonic peak to the next,
etc. This turns out to have been a mistake as it does not accurately reflect
the way the rig is operated and, more importantly, the measurements tend to
become inaccurate at QRPppp levels. Even with a $14k analyzer (not mine)!
Today, I re-shot the rigs at normal power levels and have now updated my
site with the info. The rigs I measured are the KX-1, AT Sprint III, SST-30,
SST-40 and DSW (original) 20. Info is on the links at:
