I have been generally frustrated with the NR and stopped using it. Then, playing around I turned off the effects, AFX and tried NR in vanilla mono. It works much better. My ignorant theory is that AFX and NR together is more processing than the audio can take and lots of content is lost. Without AFX the NR is very effective. You might like it.
