Using a second K3 for Diversity Receive

Mike Dillon
Has anyone used a second K3 for a diversity receiver rather than a
second receiver in a single K3? The switching and protection could be
worked out.

It would present some significant challenges.

1) The Ref Osc from the "primary" K3 would have to be used for all
signals supplied to the other K3: 49.38 MHz reference as well as 8.23
MHz 2nd LO.

2) The second receiver's IF ADC would have to be clocked from the
primary K3's DSP board.
