Using the K1EL K42 CW keyer with a KX3

Gary Auchard
I have a KX3 and a K1EL K42 CW keyer/reader that I'm working on using together.  The only issue I'm having is in trying to get the two devices to decode at the same place on the tuning dial. The K42 has a bandpass centered on 690 Hz and the KX3 is slightly off of that point when you use the Spot feature.  My question is if the KX3 can be adjusted somehow to decode at 690 Hz like the K42 or is it fixed at its sweet spot too.  The K42 cannot be adjusted or moved. Thanks, Gary A. - W0MNA

Gary,

The K42 may be fixed pitch, but the KX3 is not.
Hold the pitch button and then turn the Keyer/Mic knob until the VFO B
display shows 690 Hz.
