Viewing current firmware details

I don't know whether it's my system or a website glitch, but if I click on
the Elecraft site's software page display:

K3 Firmware FTP page  (Just for direct viewing of the current K3 firmware
files.)

nothing happens, but if I right click, selecr properties and copy and paste
the URL into the address line, it displays the list of current software
downloads at:

ftp://ftp.elecraft.com/K3/firmware

I wouldn't be surprised if it's my system because I've always had a talent
for smashing Windows.  It would be a first. though, to know it wasn't my
system.

No problem here using Firefox under Linux. :) I'm not suggesting you should switch to Linux to solve this, but why not try Firefox?
