W2ENY HEADSET

I put in an order and the headset arrived two weeks ago.
It has two 1/8" stereo plugs and both mike and headphones were plugged into the back of the K3.
Now the AFX works!
Reports of on air quality have been favorable. I have not done any TX EQ.

The boom that holds the mike can be moved 180°, thus the boom may come from either ear.
When I am on CW I just swing the boom up toward my ear, now it is no longer in front of my face.
The cord goes to one earpiece, same one that holds the mike boom.
There is a volume control on the cord. Helpful for adjusting volume.

I am not using the adapters that came with the headset. They are used on the front panel.
W2ENY does offer a PTT and foot switch. I made my own that plugs into the back of the K3.

I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Bias is needed.  MIC = RPL  35, CMP = 19

I also have the Elecraft MH2
Bias is needed  MIC = FPL  19,  CMP = 19
That Elecraft mike is very nice, but you cannot wear it.
Even tho I am not using it now, I am glad I have it.

CW is my mane mode. I get on some SSB nets.
