Has anyone ever ordered from Idiom Press?

W2RMS
Here's another one:
has anyone here ever ordered anything from Idiom Press?
I'm really at a loss here...
I ordered this RotorEZ board to give me a serial port on an older CDE HAM-IV rotor/control box.
This was around March 31st time frame.
Their website does say that sometimes order could take up to two weeks to ship.
And that would be ok, except they don't reply to any e-mails or pick up the phone.
I don't even know if they are still in business...
I do see a charge on my card for April 11th, but even that is not for the full amount that i ordered.
Still, no response, nothing...

Is this how they operate normally?

I'm hoping someone here had dealing with these people and can shed some light on this.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately it has been that way for a couple of years since the
founder handed things off to an offspring.
My first ever kit was the Super CMOS III keyer.
I haven't ordered anything from them since the change and it looks like
I won't again.

Here's an alternative. I haven't ordered one, but I keep seeing it posted elsewhere.

Re: Has anyone ever ordered from Idiom Press?

I ordered one last year and had not problems, but a number of posts like
yours have cropped up in the last several months.

It is a very nicely engineered modification. It basically guts the rotor
controller using the front panel controls in different ways or in at
least one case for an entirely different function. It has worked
flawlessly for me for over a year under manual control and under Ham
Radio Deluxe control.

But that doesn't help if they're not shipping or even communicating with
you.

Slava,
I ordered their board about a year and a half ago and it came fairly promptly. Needed it for my remote station control. Works pretty well with a glitch or two.  Does allow me to rotate remotely which is why I have it.
More info available if needed.

In reply to this post by W2RMS
I ordered a digi-talker a year and a half ago.
It came.
It was missing parts.
I emailed.
I got no answer or parts.
I emailed the designer.  He had not been able to contact Idiom Press,
either.  He provided me the "real" part numbers.
I purchased the parts.
I never heard from Idiom Press.
I would like to add the rotor control but not likely...
