The WPX band conditions last night were great.
20 meters was open all over the world...
i got to get out and operate pedestrian mobile w/10 foot whip.
Within 30 minutes at 0500z, i worked Europe and New Zealand.
My first New Zealand/pm contacts.
The WPX contest uses funny prefixes so i don't know where all these guys were.
RA3CW & 4N5N in Russia
YZ0Z, G5X plus ZL6QH and ZM1A in NZ.
i heard one VK3 but he was pouncing and i could never find him.
This is the first time i was able to work Europe and New Zealand at the same
time.
