You can watch real time scores for each WRTC team championship this
weekend at: http://www.wrtc2010.ru/online/online_results.php With 48 teams, here are how some of the NA teams are doing : N6MJ/KL9A (Running K3s) are in second place, just a hair (15 qso's) behind the leaders, RW1AC/RA1AIP. N2NT/K3LR (Running K3s) are in 4th place VE3DX/VE3XB (Running K3s) are in 5th place K5ZD/W2SC (Running K3s) are in 6th place K6XX/N6XI (Running K3s) are in 13th place N2IC/N6TV (Running K3s) are in 26th place W4PA/K6LA (Running K3s) are in 28th place With at least 42 K3s in use by the WRTC teams, it looks like the K3 is the dominant rig. I believe there are also several in use by some of the local Russian teams and/or Europeans who were traveling via surface. These weren't indicated on the airport import documents which were the source of the 42 number. 73, Bill |

Yeah, one of them has a baggie over top of the KPA cooling intake. Yoikes.
The only rigs I recognize in this collection of pix (by case holes or side view of knobs, besides the obvious front panels) are K3's. There are a couple pix with a different rig, but could not tell what it was. 73, Guy. Actually, my opinion on looking at the pictures was "look at all those youngsters among the Russians and Europeans!" Of course, for me a youngster is anyone under 50, but still... you won't see many of them at a US event. -- Vic, K2VCO Fresno CA http://www.qsl.net/k2vco/ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

GA,
I have received a barrage of this email. I've probably gotten the same email 20-30 times over the past day.
