Dave,
Better check your facts. Unless you mean issue of new experimental licenses. The 600m band is migrating to 465-480 KHz under pending approval for ham use by the FCC. WD2XSH retains its privileges on 490-510 KHz and is authorized to use the new band with some restrictions. http://www.500kc.com/ Ed KL7UW, WD2XSH/45 ------------------------------ Message: 8 Date: Tue, 26 Jul 2011 13:10:37 -0700 From: "Dave New, N8SBE" <[hidden email]> Subject: Re: [Elecraft] WSPR To: "Ken Roberson" <[hidden email]> Cc: Elecraft Elecraft <[hidden email]> Message-ID: <[hidden email]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Shouldn't be, since the special authorization for 600 meters expired in the US at the end of 2010. A shame, too, since I was the lucky(?) winner of the 600m transverter kit at the 2011 FDIM. I ended up doing some swapping with the rep and got a dual band 40 and 20 meter receiver kit, instead. 73, -- Dave, N8SBE 73, Ed - KL7UW, WD2XSH/45 ====================================== BP40IQ 500 KHz - 10-GHz www.kl7uw.com EME: 50-1.1kw?, 144-1.4kw, 432-100w, 1296-60w, 3400-?
