WANTED: K2/100. I'm in the market for a basic K2/100. Interested in
SSB, DSP or AF. Not very interested in ATU, NB, IO, Battery etc. (at
least not yet). High serial number preferred. Non-smoker a must.
Looking to spend less then kit-cost for the rig (sorry :-).

I put the Omni V.9 on e-bay yesterday. Today, BIN came through and the
rig is sold, and I've been paid. Tomorrow is shipping day and suddenly
the K1 is my only rig!
So, time to get very serious about lining up a K2.

BTW, in this process I made one almost fatal mistake. I made an SSB
contact with the Omni. It had wide SSB filters in both IFs and the
receive audio was fantastic. I also got a glowing signal report from
the other station even before he knew what I was running. It began
making me thing I should keep it ... but I rarely run SSB so figured it
was not worth it.
