I have been quite inactive for almost 10 years and it appears my logging
program is quite outdated. What is recommended that would --- 1. Control the K3 with a mouse 2. Compare my log with the cluster "putouts" and audibly ANNOUNCE needed countries via voice or preferably CW so I could hear it in the next room 3. Upload easily to LOTW 4. Be easy to operate very very stable The above are mandatory, however it would be nice if it supported some digital modes as well Tnx & gud DX de jim K3SW _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Something new is heading this way with a public demo either next Sunday (Jan 25th) or the 1st of Feb. 2009. Some old-ish screenshots: http://www.ham-radio-deluxe.com/Programs/Future/NewLogbook/NewLogbookStatus/tabid/126/Default.aspx I assume you're a Windows user? The sooner the better Simon. The current HRD logbook is good but there are several problems. I am not sure I want my logbook to send me an SMS though! |

DX Labs is the best I have used so far, and I have tried many. Once
setup, it makes working with LOTW a snap. But I do more work from the DX cluster, or controlling the rig directly, as opposed to the GUI interface.
