What is up with this?

Hello,

I had a ton of problems with two K2s and sent two or three a day for over a week to support at Elecraft. The response was usually within an hour or two. I always got thoughtful responses on where to go next to trouble-shoot my rigs. It was truly outstanding. Both of my rigs are up and running.

The guy selling this rig on Ebay

claims Elecraft has no support??? Isn't this the same story as the person who was writing to the forum? Maybe he thought this forum is Elecraft technical support.

Strange.

This is a peculiar case for me.

I personally tried to help this individual with his K2 problems, and did
not receive much input in return from the questions I posed to him.  As
a result, I have little idea about the condition of the K2 he is
attempting to sell, nor his reasons for selling it.

I do not know whether he asked for help from Elecraft Support or not -
if he did, he did not mention it to me in several email exchanges.  
Perhaps he *does* interpret the Elecraft reflector as the support
mechanism, but I can assure you that Elecraft does have an official
support system (separate from this reflector) in place and is available
via phone or email to [hidden email] (K3 questions should go to
[hidden email]).
