Hi Group.
The mailman left me K2 #5949 yesterday and I'll be getting to that hopefully within the next few days. I did open the box, scanned the manual and couldn't find Appendix D photographs. Did I just miss it or maybe it doesn't exist? I know my KX1 manual did have photos when I built #336 a few years ago. Also wondering if there are build differences between the KX1 and K2 in addition to the obvious component amount difference? Thank you. Hi John,
Small world, I'm working on K2 #5945 :) I don't believe my manual has photos either, except in the case of the inventory sheets that have photos of some parts for identification. Uh, oh! There *should* be an Appendix D. I suggest you e-mail
Elecraft([hidden email] or [hidden email]) and ask them what happened. In the meantime, you can get Appendix D from the Elecraft web site at: http://www.elecraft.com/manual/k2_man_revF_app_D.pdf It's almost 6 megabytes; a bit of a download if you happen to be using a dialup connection. If you've built a KX1 you're well 'warmed up' for the K2. Like you said there are more parts, but more space to match. Some manuals in the last run were missing Appendix D due to a printing
error that yours truly didn't catch. My apologies. As Ron mentioned, you can find it on our web site. 73, Wayne --- http://www.elecraft.com _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
