Why not fiber optic interconnects

It seems that this RFI pickup proof type of interconnect would be of help.

Of course, making up the cables would be a task.

I'd personally like all cables except coax, power and ground to go this
route in the future.

Probably a good idea?  But those darn FO cables are REALLY hard to crimp or solder … ;-)
