Hi Bob,
I've been using the Win4K3Suite for several years now, for controlling the K3S remotely. and it functions perfectly. Support of this software is fantastic! 73 de Jim - KE8G On Sun, Mar 17, 2019 at 9:26 AM Bob Conder via Elecraft < [hidden email]> wrote: > Are any of you using the Win4K3Suite with the K-3?If so, does it work > well?I'm also interested in interfacing this with a RSP2 SDR for the > Panadaptor display.Tnx for any comments.Bob K4RLC > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[hidden email] > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
Hi Bob,
I just started using Win4K3 last August when I upgraded to a new computer system. It also runs DXLab, N1MM, SKCCLoger, CW Skimmer and WJST. It performs flawlessly. Just remember to turn on your K3 before you run Win4K3. I love the macro feature since it is so easy to write, store and change them. It has a nice sync with ClubLog although I prefer SpotCollector. The K3 memories are right up front and easy to access. I don't use too many of the controls as I got the program mainly for the virtual ports. I am sure you will enjoy the program. I'm using Win4K3 with my K3s. It works like a champ. I have the IF out
driving the RSP2 for spectrum and I have LP-Pan installed so I can drive my USB sound card for the those things like CW Skimmer. If you do this, I suggest that you buffer the IF output with an ~3-6db amplifier before going to the splitter. If you don't split the IF out, the RSP2 works fine. 73, Barry K3NDM ------ Original Message ------ From: "Bob Conder via Elecraft" <[hidden email]> To: "[hidden email]" <[hidden email]> Sent: 3/17/2019 9:26:05 AM Subject: [Elecraft] Win4K3Suite ? >Are any of you using the Win4K3Suite with the K-3?If so, does it work well?I'm also interested in interfacing this with a RSP2 SDR for the Panadaptor display.Tnx for any comments.Bob K4RLC >______________________________________________________________ >Elecraft mailing list >Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft >Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm >Post: mailto:[hidden email] > >This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net >Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I've been using it for a few years now and
mostly for compatibility with WSJT-X and the virtual ports. It does much more but for my needs, it is stellar and I highly recommend it. 73, Gary KA1J > Are any of you using the Win4K3Suite with the K-3?If so, does it > work well?I'm also interested in interfacing this with a RSP2 SDR for > the Panadaptor display.Tnx for any comments.Bob K4RLC > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list Home: > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: > http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Bob, I just saw your question about Win4K3Suite. I can add my
recommendation to the others that have responding. I highly recommend it. I even took the time and made a very detailed YouTube video that you might be interested in. It focuses on the capability of sharing the K3/S CAT feed across multiple software apps and hardware. Here is the link <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbf7BPfcj4U>if you want to take a look... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbf7BPfcj4U I pack a lot of detail in the video... you can jump forward 10 seconds or back 10 seconds by using the 'J' and 'L' keys on your keyboard or 3 second jumps using the arrow keys. This video will give you some good context of how you can leverage the 'virtual' CAT feeds. I love this solution because it's 100% transparent to the software or hardware you are using. In all cases, the software or hardware thinks it's directly connected to your K3/S. Max NG7M > Thanks to all who responded to my question abt the Win4K3Suite.Sounds like exactly what I need and a very good program.I'll let you know how it works out for me.73 de Bob K4RLC -- M.
