For those who have the transverter and may be driving it with the ICOM PRO
II or III which has a stated drive level of -20 dbm, are you able to get the
full 25 watts output at this drive level?
I measured my PRO II drive and I am actually getting significantly more
drive than spec at -1.5 dbm into a Boonton 42A micro-wattmeter. If my
measurement is accurate I should have no trouble with enough drive yet I do
need to get at least 25 watts out to drive my Commander II amp.
Thanks for any observations you can provide.
