XV144 - Power adjustment

James Rogers
Boy,  you whisper at this thing and it gets full 20W output. I was
having some problems with overshoot on CW so I re-calibrated and the
problem has gone away..... 0.20mW = 20W out on a Bird 43. 0.10mW gives
about 15W out on the Bird 43. R22 power out is barely cracked, R10 set
to indicated power. It works!

Jim,

You have the input attenuator in the XV144 that you can adjust if that
is a problem for you.
Take the top cover off and you will see the input attenuator pot near
the center rear quadrant.
