XV144, protection against high SWR?

Samir Popaja-3
Hello,

I just wondering if the XV144 has some kind of protection against high SWR?

I have burned C44 in XV144, twice in very short period. First time when I
using
XV144 to tune input circuit of my amplifier, and second time I forgot to
switch
input relays when testing and the XV144 was without load for less the 1s, it
was enough to burn C44...

Thank you

Don Wilhelm-4
There is no high SWR detection or protection in any of the XV transceivers.
If operated into a high SWR, yes, high RF voltages will exist in the Low
Pass Filter which can easily exceed the voltage rating of the chip
capacitors.
