My transverter is set up to TX and RX on the same output connector.
Is it possible to configure so that I can retain this RX/TX as is and have another port give me 144 mHz RX only output? I need this capability in order to interface the transverter to my SDR-IQ SDR, which is a receive only radio. _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Hi John,
I mis-spoke. I meant to say that I want the 28 mhz receive out of the transverter, not the 144 mhz receive, while keeping the 144 mhz RX/TX on the single output port connector. You would have to put a splitter in to create two RX IF paths. You would
have to set it up to use a split mode xcvr connection in order to do this easily. However you could run with a single port xcvr if you modify the relay schema for tx/rx switching in the control circuitry of the XV. Also you would have to raise the output gain of the mixer output by 3dB to make up for the splitter in Rx mode. All in all it's very doable if you really want to. -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Dave Blaschke Sent: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 8:24 PM To: John D'Ausilio Cc: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [Elecraft] XV144 transverter question Hi John, I mis-spoke.
