-35 dB doesn't look too bad compared to a lot of the stuff out there
today - even if it is a PEP (ARRL) measurement.  If it is referenced
to one of the two tones, it's significantly better than most of the
currently available transceivers.

It would still be nice to see some manufacturer's specifications
and test data in linear service.  Given the raw gain and the
unmatched design, it should be possible to do an 800 - 900 watt
broadband block without overly stressing them ... two amps would
be an interesting at 1500 W PEP output assuming the IMD did not
increase too much at reduced power output (another reason for
manufacturer's specs/test data).

At $275 each (Q=1) a pair is competitive with an 8877.

One of the USB pins is a ground connection.  I don't know if this carries through the USB-RS232 adapters.

Same here, I am on a slightly older (2008) 17" MBP.  No issues with
ground whatsoever.  Unit literally sits right next to notebook on a
small table.  I would ground if you had a reason, otherwise you are
chasing ghosts.

Hey Phil.
I have my iMac not 10 inches away form my rig without a problem.
I don't think the computer needs to be grounded with the exception of the
ground fault connection in the AC cable going to the outlet. When we get bad
weather though, I do disconnect my rig from the antenna and I also
disconnect the "Serial to USB" cable from the rig to my computer just to be
on the safe side. Hope this helps.
