about to build KIO serial adapter

WA2JJH
I just wanted any hints or problems they may have had assembling the KIO  kit.
Most people will build a kit and then find out mods you shoud have known
about.

so I am just asking if anybody had to solve anything unusual  building and
installing the computer interface.

Why not get advice up front, rather than getting it post mortum.  hi-hi

No real hints or problems but...

A 15 pin connector will fit the same hole as a 9 pin.  With a little
imagination, you will have 6 pins left over for, say, Pauli's PSK board
or whatever.  The circuit board fingers don't line up as perfectly as it
would on a 9 pin, but you can make it work.  It also makes the cable
special, so you can't put the cable in wrong.  I haven't tried this on
the PA100 board, but there is room in the basic K2.
