Ah. Reminds me of the 60's when my band could not afford the top of the
line Anvil road cases and resorted to buying amp case parts from Fender and
others to build our own racks. Bob Heil custom built our mixers, EQs and
mains and monitors for us. Another local musician, Jay Barry, began making
"rack" road cases for musical groups in the area and many ham clubs put them
to good use outside the music business.
