Hello, I have a question regarding wire jumpers replacing resistors R18 and R19 on the control board. Should these jumpers be installed on the bottom of the control board and soldered on the top or installed on the top of the board and then soldered on the bottom of the control board ? Does it have any special meaning ? 73 de Rafal SP9IVD ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jak bedzie wygladac koniec swiata? >>> Zobacz >>> http://link.interia.pl/f1a38 _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Rafal,
Those are just jumper wires in the audio path (see the schematic), so there is nothing special about them other than that they need to exist. If you plan to install either the KAF2 or the KDSP2, intall the jumpers so that you can easily remove them. In fact, if you have the KAF2 or KDSP2 kit in hand, you may want to consider installing the headers and then put in temporary jumpers. 73, Don W3FPR [hidden email] wrote: > Hello, > > I have a question regarding wire jumpers replacing resistors R18 > and R19 on the control board. > > Should these jumpers be installed on the bottom of the control > board and soldered on the top or installed on the top of the board > and then soldered on the bottom of the control board ? > > Does it have any special meaning ? > > 73 de Rafal SP9IVD Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
