Fellow crafters,
How can I program "pauses or spaces" into my memories to keep my cqs from getting too close spaced on my K3? Any assist will be appreciated. 73, Mike K5NU _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. The memories record just as you send when you
"load" them ... long spaces, short spaces, pauses, etc. It will then "play" just as you sent when you "loaded" the memory ... an exact copy of what you loaded into the memory. 73! To program the memories you have to use a paddle rather than the straight key. I don't normally use a paddle so I keep making mistakes. Is there are way to program CW memories via software?

Not that I've tried this, but if you programme at very low speed, does
that help? -- Ideas are like rabbits. Not really, the problem with programming at very low speeds is that it is very hard to get the timing right. Plus, the whole process takes a lot longer, especially if you make a mistake and have to start over.
