diode replacement?

N2TK
I need to replace a diode in the K60XV - part #E560014. It's a PIN labeled
"30 81". A while back I remember reading something about a 1N4??? Diode
would work. Does anyone remember this? What diode? Are there any drawbacks
in performance by using this substitute diode?

I have ordered a replacement diode from Elecraft. But maybe I can fix this
with something I have in stock or that Radio Shack carries locally.

Thanks for any feedback.

Tony,

This is a very specialized PIN diode. You can't replace it with an
ordinary silicon diode or a 1N4007.

I'm sure your replacement is on the way.
