downloading firmware 5.52 beta

I have followed the instructions as accurately as I know how and now I have the zip file for 5.52 in a folder on my Mac desktop. I have instructed the Utility to go to this folder and then clicked Check Revisions Now, but I am still only seeing V. 5.5 which I just downloaded with ease.

Can anyone give me a little assistance
