elecraft pocket knife..

Tim Hodges
Here is my tale of woe..
When I bought my KX-1, Elecraft sent me a little engraved swiss-army
style pocket knife, about 2 1/2 or 3" inches long.
I gave that knife to my boy Patrick. Pat is now 10 and loved that knife,
always ready to whip it out and solve any problem. Tonight
he lost it at a park he was playing at, and is absolutley crushed that
he lost something that his Dad gave him.

If any of you have one of these knives you would be willing to part with
at a reasonable price, I would be ever so welcome. Drop me a line off-list..

If your boy was in the UK he would likely get arrested for carrying a
knife in a public place or at school.  Unlike the old days, knives are
regarded as dangerous weapons, engraved "Elecraft" or not.

Incidentally, we can't carry guns either.
