fldigi and flrig and the filters of K3 and KX3

hhoyt
Julie,

Another excellent option is the KeyLogGo from QRPworks:http://www.qrpworks.com/index.html
In addition to sending and displaying CW, RTTY and PSK from the keyboard it is also a full-functioned
logger for the field.  It has far too many features for me to list, you should look at the website.
It's an excellent value when you consider all it does when coupled with the KX3.

Julie,

If Larry can copy CW OK, but has trouble using paddles for transmit, I
suggest you look into some of the offerings to allow the use of a
keyboard for CW.  There are several possibilities - the K1EL K40 which
will allow keyboard operation without a computer. Alternately, the K1EL
Winkeyer which will give similar capabilities with many logging programs
- there are others too, just not as popular as the K1EL offerings...

Also, the upcoming pan-adaptor (PX3) for the KX3 as described at the Dayton HamVention was to have keyboard send/receive of the supported digital modes, as well as function as a large multi-line display for working with these modes.  Logging was not mentioned however.
