k-3 2 meter

tony rowland
am thinking of  geting a k-3 100 w/ all the goodies. the only
problem i have is the 2 meter board. am not that great at soldering. thought i read somewhere that the power pole now comes
preinstalled and you no longer have to do it yourself.

No soldering is required if you order the factory built power cable.
I am not sure how you found information that it is related to the 2
meter module, there really is no connection there - unless you order the
external XV144 which comes only as a kit.
There is no soldering for the K3 kits, mainly mechanical assembly.

BTW - there are no dashes in Elecraft product designations.  There are 2
exceptions within the mini modules, the N-Gen and the 2T-Gen.
