RC,

12 (and 10) meters are not available from Elecraft.  I have heard of a
couple builders who attempted a 10 meter K1 mod, but I don't know the
details nor the results.
One difficult part is obtaining the crystal required - it must be a
fundamental mode crystal and must be 8 MHz above the low end of the band
unless you change the mixing scheme.
