k2 Front Panel board Const

Dennis Vavra
Install of the encoder Z1, calls for removal of !/8th inch of the four connector pins. I measured these pins,  uncut to be abt 1/4th inch long. This seems pretty short to me.
After cutting pins, how long should they be when I wrap the 4 wires around them.  Dennis Vavra..AD5LY

Dennis,

Do just what the manual says - it will all work out.  You will cut the pins
about in half.
