My K3 has started displaying 10.9v on the LCD. I know what to do
about that. But when the BAT LOW warning is displayed at the bottom of the display, does that tell me that the input voltage to the rig is low, or does it indicate that the internal battery is low? 73, Tom Amateur Radio Operator N5GE ARRL Lifetime Member QCWA Lifetime Member ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

DISREGARD: THE POWER SUPPLY WAS DISCONNECTED AND THE RIG WAS RUNNING
ON BACKUP BATTERIES. (DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THOSE POWER-POLE CONNECTORS?) 73, Tom Amateur Radio Operator N5GE ARRL Lifetime Member QCWA Lifetime Member On Thu, 10 Jan 2013 06:43:10 -0600, Tom H Childers <[hidden email]> wrote: >My K3 has started displaying 10.9v on the LCD. Actually I do like the Power-Pole connectors. Small, easy to use. The main
issue seems to be assembling them properly. Mine click on fine and don't fall off. You need to pull on them to disconnect. Thinking of doing a mod to my SS-30M that saw about adding Power-Poles to the back of the supply. 73, N2TK, Tony -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Tom H Childers Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2013 8:42 AM To: 'Elecraft Mailing List' Subject: Re: [Elecraft] [k3] BAT LOW DISREGARD: THE POWER SUPPLY WAS DISCONNECTED AND THE RIG WAS RUNNING ON BACKUP BATTERIES. I have two 4008 RIGrunner distribution boxes and numerous
PowerPole set-ups. Never had one disconnect "on it's own". 73! Ken - K0PP On Thu, Jan 10, 2013 at 3:57 PM, N2TK, Tony <[hidden email]> wrote: > Actually I do like the Power-Pole connectors.
