[k3] BAT LOW

N5GE
My K3 has started displaying 10.9v on the LCD.  I know what to do
about that.

But when the BAT LOW warning is displayed at the bottom of the
display, does that tell me that the input voltage to the rig is low,
or does it indicate that the internal battery is low?

DISREGARD: THE POWER SUPPLY WAS DISCONNECTED AND THE RIG WAS RUNNING
ON BACKUP BATTERIES.  (DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THOSE POWER-POLE
CONNECTORS?)

Actually I do like the Power-Pole connectors. Small, easy to use. The main
issue seems to be assembling them properly.  Mine click on fine and don't
fall off. You need to pull on them to disconnect.
Thinking of doing a mod to my SS-30M that  saw about adding Power-Poles to
the back of the supply.

Rose
I have two 4008 RIGrunner distribution boxes and numerous
PowerPole set-ups.  Never had one disconnect "on it's own".
