k3- external speakers

Larry WD4MBE
Does anyone know the impedance range of the external speakers for the K3?  I
have looked and can't find it in the specs...no doubt I've overlooked
something that is obvious.

4 ohms to 16 ohms ought to work fine.  4 ohms will give you the loudest
audio since the amplifier is having to work directly from the 12V supply.

Lyle,

Thank you for the info. I'm about to order a Peavey Impulse II Monitor
Speaker for my Yaesu FT-920. The speaker specs out at 16 ohms. This will
work for the Yaesu, but I plan to switch this speaker to the K3...just
needed to know the range of the K3.
