Is the factory still selling the K3 or has it been replaced with the K3S.

If you look at the Elecraft shipping status page, you see that the K3 is listed as being
delayed due to shortage of important part. Note the quoted section below

(5/5) We are now short of an important part for the K3.
There will be approximately a 3 week delay until new parts
arrive and shipments resume. Orders received during this
period will then ship based on their order date when we
resume shipping.

Now, if you look at the posting date of May 5th, factor in the KXS announcement of
May 14th, you might wonder if Elecraft purposely delayed shipping of K3s ordered
just prior to the KXS announcement to give these buyers the option of switching to the
KXS.
