k3 transmit problem

Ai4PF
I am new to the k3 and this reflector. I must say that I am hugely
impressed with both. I never fully realized 8-pin connectors could vary
so much in their wiring. Come Monday I think I'll invest $20.00 and get
the Kenwood adapter from Heil.
Thanks again to All.

Bill, save your $20 and just plug the mic, phones and tx/rx switch into the
rear panel jacks as others have suggested :-)

Re: k3 transmit problem

Cady, Fred
To use the rear panel for the mic input, hit Menu to go into the Main
menu and then tune to MIC SEL with VFO B and choose RPL with VFO A. I
think you need to turn bIAS on too (by hitting the #2 key on the
keypad).
Cheers,
KE7X
