k3 turning itself back on

My K3  turns itself back on after 5 seconds or so after shutoff.  Faultly power button ?  any suggestions  Mark  ---------W1VJ       k3 427

  Mark,

Do you have anything connected to the K3 ACC connector?  It sounds like
something is grounding the ACC connector pin 8.
If you used a VGA externsion cable to connect to the ACC connector, some
of the pins are shorted to other pins in a VGA cable - you must use a
cable with all 15 pins separated.
