k3exref dependencies?

Do I need k3tcxo3 to be able to use k3exref?

Either I'll have a good 10MHz source, or I won't be doing things that
require that level of stability ..

You do not need the TCXO in order to have the external reference.  I've got
my radio setup in this manner.
