If you notice any strange operation of your KPA100, yes. For example,
unexpected over-current on some bands or other signs of instability. Most
KPA100s are fine. Only a few show odd symptoms for various reasons.
It's a reasonably upgrade to perform. If you have any doubt, or simply want
to keep your KPA100 up to the current Elecraft design, I'd do it.
