Hi Jim,
I also posted this on the KX3 group but I will post it here also.
I had this happen on mine also one time. My alarm was set to off and
for a time of 00:00. After it turned on by itself, I cycled the alarm
state from off to on to off and it didn't do it again after that. In
addition, even after the charging was complete, the asterisk that
indicates the battery charging state didn't turn off until I cycled power.
