line out on K3 not working?

Jan Sluchak
I recently blew out the audio speaker chip from having my K3 set incorrectly to
2 speakers instead of 1. Am currently using line out for amplified  speakers.
Now, there is nothing heard from line out plug in back.  I  have gone through
the manual to see if I set up something wrong. Can  anyone add a recommendation
on what to check to re establish the line  out jack?  I'll be repairing the
speaker issue, just waiting for a quiet time.

Just getting used to the new radio (to me). Sold my FT-1000d to afford this one
and it is impressive.
Thanks  Jan N6YV

  Jan,

Look on page 57 of the manual - CONFIG: LIN OUT.  You can tap the 1
button and change it to =phones and the AF Gain will work with Line Out
and the level is equal to the headphone output.
