Yep, the Etch-A-Sketch screen format is faithfully
reproduced in the printed document. For years the
faithful proclaimed, yabbut it's function over form
and Orion is the only game in town (US built
w/roofing). That's about to change. IMO the bar is
about to be raised for high end radios -and- their
assocated documents. Having said that - absolutely
love my OMNI VI+, and won't let loose of it for
anything.
I chuckled this evening at the thought that K3 will be
one radio that doesn't have one of those warranty void
stickers that we all break to open the covers. ;-)
If it's important enough to put a sticker on, I want
to see what's inside! Otherwise, who cares...
Maybe the guys should have a sticker that says
"please, please break this, if you send the K3 in for
repair or service and the sticker is -NOT- broken
you'll be charged for the service (not to mention the
hams here will think a lot less of you.)" ;-)
