"monitor" toggle?

Gary Dezern
Is there a command to toggle the "monitor" function on and off without changing the level?

I operate with both headphones and external stereo speakers plugged in.  When I'm ragchewing or just "messing around", I'll use external powered stereo speakers, but when I'm more serious about a contact, I'll put on the headphones and turn the volume down/off for the speakers.  With speakers, the monitor needs to be off, but I like it on while using headphones.

I'm hoping to find a way to toggle the monitor on/off when I switch back and forth, but without having to mess with levels.  Is there such a way, or am I stuck with "ML00" to turn it off, and then having to force it to a particular level to turn it back on?

Having an on/off TOGGLE would also allow me to use a single macro/button for the function instead of having to use two different ones.

Thanks

Gary,

If you use the K3 Utility program, and write this macro, it should do what you are looking for, I would think.
ML015 "ML" being the monitor command and "015" being the level of the monitor volume. I have recently learned how convenient using and writing marcos can be.

I hope this helps,

Yes, I have something similar to this, with a macro for "ML000;" assigned to PF1 and another macro for "ML020;" assigned to PF2.  The problem is that it's taking two keys (one to turn monitor on, another to turn it off.)  I'd like a single command to "toggle" it.... so if its currently on (non-zero), the command will turn the monitor off, and if its currently off, that same command will turn it back on.  This would allow me to program that single command to a single key to toggle the state of the monitor.

Take care
