multiple Digests

Yesterday I was getting dupes of the digests...

Today, I'm getting three of each. Problem with my email provider or on the sending side?

I occasionally get multiple copies of the same email and it's something to do with my provider: NTL; they don't always clear out of the server when received in my in tray.  I know this because I go to webmail to do the clearing manually.

You would need to look at the Received headers on the messages to
allocate blame, and even then you can only really allocate it to the
interface between two systems.

Email is designed to fail towards duplication.  There is a stage at the
end of sending the text where the receiver may have successfully
received it but the sender hasn't had confirmation.  For a large email,
and an overloaded system, that might last long enough for the sender to
assume a failure and resend.
