   I need a portable power supply  to charge and run my kx3.
Has anyone tried this supply   *MFJ-4103*

Ditto on the Samlex products.  I use the metered version, but they're
RF-quiet and good to 30A peak.  No voltage droop at peak, either.

I use the Samlex SEC-1223 supply as well... I have taken it on several
Dxpeditions because it is light, rugged, powerful, no noise (audio or
electronic), and small enough to pack into a briefcase.  Works on 90-160 VAC
and 50-60 +/- CPS power.  Universal radio has them for $85.

I just picked up a powerwerx SS-30DV power supply. It is overkill for the
basic KX3 but it small and will have plenty of current if you add the amp
and accessories later on.
