Any suggestions for cabling between a K2 front panel and the rest of its body for distances of around 10 feet?  I suspect that many signals are such low frequency that I don't need to be too concerned, but what signals might need special attention? (shielded twisted pair, coax, ...) -- any suggestions?

RE: Remoting K2 Front Panel

Steven Pituch
Hi Andrew,

It looks like its been done before. If you look at the first picture page at
the Elecraft site, it has photos of Andy Meng's bicycle mobile setup.  He
definitely remoted the front panel onto the handle bars.  I was not
fortunate enough to see it in person, but he showed it can be done.

If the sigs are similar to the ones out the kio2 then you can certainly go
ten feet using the same type of cable that would go to the PC.  I'm sure
some one else will chime in and clarify it for us.

Regards,
Steve, W2MY
