Hi everyone

I am thinking of buying a KPA500 and maybe a  tuner.Main reason is that it covers 50 MHz.

As it is not cheap to import ( dollar exchange rate, freight, sales tax here etc) I
am interested in what others have found with the amps performance on 50 Mhz.

Mine works VERY well -- 500W out with about 28w drive, and it can run
that way for keydown modes like FSK441, JT65, and RTTY.  Runs nicely on
120VAC or 240VAC, simple configuration at the mains socket on the back
of the unit. It's been in service for about 3 years. Lots of contesting,
always run with all the lights lit. :)
